The Cuthbert House

Here we are again, as promised, with another of Furlow Gatewood's wonderful homes on his Georgia compound that I featured last week here.

Enjoy and have a great day!

  1. You have found another beautiful home! The exterior is exquisite and I'm loving all the hydrangeas. Is the small building a garden shed (such a mundane word for such a beautiful building)?

  2. Hi Donna - Thanks so much for asking me about the little house - I stopped to look up the information in my copy of Furlow's book, and first of all, I discovered the name of this house is actually Cuthbert House and that gorgeous little house is one of two pigeon houses Furlow had built on the property. How I would love to visit this whole compound and look at every little exquisite detail! So pleased that you are enjoying the blog and thanks so much for stopping by again - always love to hear from my visitors! Have a wonderful day!
